Founding

The Alliance was founded on 15 January 2014 as a result of a family report of the city of Lengerich by a steering group. The patronage was given by the mayor at the time.

It consists of an initiative group and the five thematic working groups “Toddlers”, “school children and adolescents”, “family and profession”, “leisure and quality of life” and “care and care in old age”. 

The charitable sponsorship association was founded in the same year for support.

Preamble

We are an association of people, institutions, organisations, institutions, companies and associations that work together for a family-friendly Lengerich. 
Families and family friendliness are important for the quality of life of our city and the basis of positive urban development that we want to promote. 
The Alliance sees itself as a platform for all those who are committed to family friendliness in Lengerich, make family issues public and want to develop practical solutions.  

We achieve our goals by pooling existing offerings for families, connecting and exchanging, cooperating and creating synergies, developing new ideas, creating the public for family interests, and supporting and supporting actions, initiatives and projects.
